The grid is the work of the century. Copper is its language. We finance the technologies that will carry it.

Founded in 2007 — long before renewables were institutional — Solar Invest International SE has structured, funded and delivered pre-market renewable projects across three continents.

We are a private holding company. We do not chase narratives. We back the engineers, the chemistries and the kilowatt-hours that compound for decades.

§03 — Four Pillars

The technologies we choose before the market does.

Solar
01 · Generation

Solar

Utility-scale generation

We structure, finance and deliver photovoltaic plants in regions where capital, regulation and irradiance compound into long-duration cashflow.

Agro–PV
02 · Land + Light

Agro–PV

Dual-use farmland

Bifacial canopies over working farmland — preserving yield while monetising the same hectare twice. The least-cost path to gigawatts of new capacity.

H₂ Electrolysis
03 · Molecule

H₂ Electrolysis

Green hydrogen at industrial scale

Membrane and alkaline stacks coupled to renewable supply, producing molecular hydrogen for steel, ammonia and long-haul transport.

Waste Pyrolysis
04 · Circular

Waste Pyrolysis

Carbon-negative feedstock recovery

Thermal decomposition that converts mixed waste streams into syngas, bio-oil and biochar — closing loops the linear economy refuses to.

§04 — Methodology

We don’t write cheques. We build infrastructure.

I

Identify

We monitor early-stage labs, university spinouts and pilot deployments across renewables, carbon and the hydrogen economy.

II

Structure

We design the legal, financial and engineering envelope — bringing together off-takers, EPCs, sovereign and private capital.

III

Fund

We invest our own balance sheet, then syndicate. Always aligned: we hold equity through the long J-curve.

IV

Deliver

We operate the project through commissioning, ramp and certification — measured in kilowatt-hours, not in slide decks.

V

Compound

We continue to support portfolio companies through commercial scale, secondary rounds and, where appropriate, public listing.

§05 — Affiliates

Sixteen companies, three continents, one balance sheet.

A letter from the desk of J. Kuhn

The energy transition is a multi-decade construction project — and we are general contractors.

For nearly two decades we have asked the same question: which technologies, today still uncomfortable to underwrite, will be unremarkable in 2040? The answer is not a single chemistry. It is a system — solar at the periphery, hydrogen and pyrolysis at the centre, copper everywhere in between.

We sit on no committees. We publish no quarterly outlooks. We deploy our own capital, alongside trusted families and institutions, into projects we can stand next to. If that is the kind of partnership you are looking for, we should talk.

§06 — Engagement

A conversation, privately.

We respond to direct enquiries from operating partners, sovereign vehicles and qualified family offices. No introductions required.
